On the afternoon of March 13, 2025, Professor Qianhua Kan, a Yanghua Chair Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University and a national high-level talent, delivered a special report titled "Innovative Practices in Digital Resource Development and Smart Teaching for Fundamental Mechanics Courses" at our university. Hosted by Professor Gexiang Zhang, Dean of the School of Automation, the event was attended by all faculty members of the school.Professor Kan systematically shared innovative experiences and methodologies in fundamental mechanics course development, covering aspects such as curriculum design philosophy, digital resource development, virtual simulation platform construction, and smart teaching practices. Following the report, he engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty members on course development and teaching advancement. The event provided a valuable platform for exchange and learning, effectively contributing to the enhancement of teaching capabilities and laying a solid foundation for the institution's educational reform and talent cultivation quality improvement.
